The RA have issued new insurance guidelines for walk leaders and also a revised incident report form. One of the key changes in the new Incident Report Form is that If an incident occurs on a Ramblers activity, it must be recorded and an incident form sent to Ramblers central office. New guidance and report forms are available here.

Following consultation new policies have also been introduced to safeguard leaders and the organisation in relation to led walks. Personal Accident cover is now available to members undertaking practical work.
